About Kavi
I am a medical graduate with an outstanding academic record, achieving A*s at GCSE and 2 A*s and 2 As at A-Level, alongside over five years of experience tutoring Maths and Sciences. I specialise in teaching GCSE and A-Level students, helping them build strong subject understanding, confidence, and exam technique.

I am a medical graduate with a strong academic track record, achieving A*s at GCSE and 2 A*s and 2 As at A-Level, and over five years of experience tutoring Maths and Science. I specialise in supporting students at GCSE and A-Level, typically working with ages 11–18, but I also have experience helping younger students build a solid foundation.
My teaching approach is highly personalised. I focus on identifying each student’s strengths and gaps early on, then structuring lessons to target exactly what will improve their understanding and exam performance. I break down complex topics into simple, logical steps, ensuring students don’t just memorise content but genuinely understand it. A strong emphasis is placed on exam technique, past paper practice, and building confidence under timed conditions.
I aim to create a supportive but focused environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is where the most progress is made. For higher-achieving students, I push for top grades by refining technique and introducing more challenging material.
Over the years, I have helped students significantly improve their grades, including supporting a student to successfully pass a competitive entrance examination and secure a scholarship place at a top 10 UK school. My students consistently gain confidence, improve exam performance, and develop independent learning skills that benefit them beyond their exams.
