About Sahand
I am a fun, kind-hearted, and passionate medical device engineer working remote in Los Angeles, CA. I received my Bachelor's in Neuroscience from UCLA, and my Master's in Bioengineering from UC Riverside.
Academics have never come easy for me, until I discovered the difference between learning and understanding. You may understand something, but did you learn it? You may learn something, which in turn will also show that you understood it. This mentality is what pushed me through multiple years of spanish, science, and math classes.
While difficult, I am super happy with what I was able to overcome academically, and I'd love to help you have the same experience!

I have over 7 years of tutoring experience in biology, math, and spanish for all ages! I've been there, I know these subjects can be hard, so I'd love to give you or your children a helping hand!
I like to start my lessons by first understanding what you DO know, so we can maximize our time working on what you need help with. I strongly believe what sets me part from all other tutors is that I like to put myself in your shoes. I don't want to teach you the way I know something, I want to teach you in the way you learn best!
