Hello! My name is Milad, and I'm currently studying Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at the University of Bristol. I have extensive experience tutoring students of different ages, and I deeply value clear, engaging communication with young learners. I start by getting to know each student, taking the time to understand their academic goals, strengths, and areas that need improvement. This enables me to develop a personalised learning plan that supports their progress and helps them achieve real academic success.
GCSE Maths: My GCSE sessions are carefully structured around a clear, step-by-step framework tailored specifically for younger learners. Each lesson begins with a concise revision of foundational concepts, carefully pinpointing and addressing common misunderstandings. Interactive exercises, engaging problem-solving games, and carefully chosen real-world examples help students connect maths to their daily experiences. To ensure consistent progress, each session includes quick, targeted assessments to reinforce new learning and track improvements over time.
A-level Maths & Further Maths: Lessons are strategically planned to align closely with exam syllabuses and student needs. We start by identifying challenging topics, followed by clear, structured explanations supported by visual aids and relatable scenarios. Next, students practise targeted exam-style questions with immediate feedback, gradually progressing to rigorous past paper practice. Regular review sessions ensure retention of concepts, while personalised feedback identifies areas for ongoing improvement. My approach ensures students develop both the technical skills and the analytical thinking needed to excel in their exams.
