About Mehdi
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath. Before university, I completed the French Baccalaureate with Mention Très Bien, including strong results in Maths, Physics/Chemistry and Computer Science.
Alongside my degree, I work with Team Bath Racing Electric as a Vehicle Dynamics and Performance Engineer, where I use tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink and vehicle simulation software.
I am especially suited to helping students who are transitioning from school to university engineering, as I understand the jump in workload, independence and technical expectations.

I offer preparation sessions for students who are about to start a Mechanical Engineering or Engineering degree, especially those who want to feel more confident before first year.
My lessons can cover key foundations such as mechanics, maths for engineering, basic programming with Python/MATLAB, problem-solving methods, and how to approach university-style engineering work.
I can also help students understand what first-year engineering is really like: how to study effectively, how to manage technical modules, how to prepare for labs/projects, and how to build useful skills early.
My approach is practical and student-focused. I explain concepts clearly, use worked examples, and connect theory to real engineering applications, including my experience in Formula Student and vehicle simulation.

Mehdi is a great teacher when it comes to beginners.
Mehdi is great teacher. He has some insightful and fun ways to teach that helps you build on your current knowledge, wherever you are at. I would very much recommend this teacher to anybody wanting to improve their French, at any level.
Mehdi is a great guy and really patient when it comes to teaching. I’ve seen him help friends with their French, and he always takes the time to explain things clearly and make learning fun. He’s encouraging and easy to talk to, which makes people feel comfortable learning with him.
