About Filippo
I genuinely enjoy giving lectures and clarifications to students. It is never boring for me explaining a concept multiple times, and it gives me real pleasure seeing students easily understanding something that they thought was really hard. My past experience as a private tutor and teaching assistant at the University of Maryland has given me a broad understanding of students' needs and learning processes, and has boosted my communication skills and empathy towards students who need support.

My typical lesson starts with a quick review of fundamental concepts, followed by the execution of numerical problems at increasing difficulty level. I don't just present full problem solutions, but I like pushing the students to figure out themselves, while always explaining when something is wrong or could be done in a better way.
