About Rachel
I am a mechanical engineering PhD researcher working on electric vehicle design and the many mathematical things that go along with it! I have experience teaching at all levels from GCSE to university tutorials. I have tutored Maths for 9 years and am passionate that, with the right approach, anyone can improve their maths and maybe even enjoy doing it! I frequently find that students benefit from additional support focusing on exam technique to increase confidence and success in exams by refining their approach to exam questions and revision. Therefore I am running a four week course where I teach the essentials of exam technique to help you prepare for your exams. We will cover the essentials of exam technique along with technique for approaching difficult questions, methods for improving the efficiency of your maths revision, understanding the marking process and what examiners are looking for, and marking your own work during revision.

Very helpful and clearly experienced tutor. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Good tutor and very friendly. I definitely would recommend Rachel.
I really recommend Rachel for AS and A level maths tutoring
Rachel organised tuition for my GCSE maths, which I really struggled with. After working closely with me through the year, I decided I would take it to A-level which Rachel tutored me for as well. Rachel has all the time in the world and she has no problem explaining stuff many times!! Rachel is so easy to get along with and genuinely makes maths so understandable and fun.. Because of the work Rachel has done with me over the years I’m so confident with maths and was awarded a B in my A-level (which I never thought would happen!) I can confidently say that my result is attributed to Rachel due to the time and effort she puts in to her tutoring. Rachel inspired me to want to do well in maths, and my grade says it all :) I highly recommend Rachel for maths tuition, she is an amazing tutor and will support you all the way :)
Rachel was my A-Level Maths tutor and she was amazing!! She was able to help me with any topic or questions I struggled with. I couldn't have got my B without her! I highly recommend Rachel as a maths tutor!
