About Maxwell
Graduating with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London set the foundation for my 13 years of teaching. My students are almost always engineering-bound, so we navigate the complexities of portfolio development and hand sketching together. I focus on technical precision in presentation boards and architectural drawing.
Rendering and design theory are just as vital as Revit and sustainable design. Do you want to learn how to present like a design professional?

Will your first session feel like a professional studio critique? I bring my 13 years of experience from engineering to ensure we tackle design tasks exactly as real architecture schools demand.
We refine every single line on your boards for maximum impact. My approach turns vague sketches into high-fidelity models that reflect engineering logic. I rely on my degree to help students map out structural viability within their creative work. You will learn the specific standards that top universities actually require for submission.
The curriculum is built on 6 years of focused architectural mentoring for competitive applicants. This rigorous structure ensures your final portfolio stands out to admissions committees. Helping you bridge the gap between creative vision and structural reality is the best part of my day.
