About Harnish
Hi!
My name is Harnish and I am a Charleston, SC native and a lifelong Clemson University fan. Go Tigers!
I graduated from Clemson University in 2020 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in math. After graduating, I’ve been working full time as a mechanical engineer. More recently, I started tutoring at Mathnasium. I’ve been essentially tutoring my friends since college and was also a PAL leader at Clemson for a couple years.
I live a very active lifestyle and some of my hobbies include playing pickleball, jogging, and going to the gym!
I’m very much looking forward to helping young students interested in a career in STEM! As a current engineer, I can provide insight in the field as well as show how the topics they learn in school directly correlate into the real world.

My approach to math and physics will be to focus on clear explanations and drawing diagrams, teach multiple problem-solving strategies, and encouraging students to practice. The goal of each session will be to develop a base level and then work from there through review of previous concepts. With years of tutoring experience and a strong background in math and physics, I work especially well with students who already have a strong grasp of Algebra, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, or Physics and want to strengthen specific topics, explore concepts more deeply, or get ahead in their class.
