About Rupam
I've been through this exact journey myself — the same boards, the same exam pressure, the same late nights wondering if a concept would ever click. That's a big part of why I teach the way I do. I know firsthand where students typically get stuck, and more importantly, why they get stuck — it's rarely about ability, and almost always about the right guidance at the right moment.
I firmly believe every student has the potential to achieve something big — sometimes they just haven't been shown how yet. My role isn't just to get through a syllabus with you; it's to help you build genuine confidence in the subject, and in yourself. That means paying attention not only to academics, but to the things around it too — motivation, exam anxiety, time management — because those often matter just as much as the concepts themselves.
If you're looking for someone who's walked this path, understands the pressure you're under, and genuinely wants to see you succeed — not just pass — I'd love to work with you.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering graduate (B.Tech) with 8 years of dedicated experience teaching Math and Physics to school students — across CBSE, ICSE, WB Board, IB and IGCSE curricula, as well as JEE/NEET aspirants.
My approach: I introduce a real-world example first before delving into any topic so that the student gets to know the significance of what they are about to learn. This creates a curiosity in their mind and then move to teach concept-first, not formula. Before a student memorizes a formula, I make sure they understand why it works — often connecting Physics to real engineering examples, since that's the lens I originally learned it through myself. Problems are broken down step-by-step rather than solved in one jump, so students build the reasoning, not just the answer. I actively monitor the student's attention and if they find difficulty in understanding any topic I switch to an alternate method of approach to the same topic.
A typical class: I start with a quick recap and doubt-clearing from the previous session, move into the new concept using visual walkthroughs and live annotated diagrams on my smart board, then work through solved examples together before handing over guided practice questions from my own material — so the student leaves having already applied what they just learned, not just heard it. Often ending the class with a real-world problem solving which further solidifies their concept & satisfaction of having put their knowledge to practical application.
What makes my classes different: the smart-board setup lets me draw, annotate, and solve problems live rather than just talk over a static screen; my own structured study material gives students the repeated, rigorous practice board and competitive exams demand; and I track each student's progress on measurable parameters — test scores, concept mastery, problem-solving speed — sharing regular updates so parents always know where their child stands and also suggests ways to enhance their performance.
Who these classes are for: school students from Classes VI to XII across CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE, as well as Class XI–XII students and droppers preparing for JEE/NEET. Whether your child needs to build strong fundamentals, close a gap in a weak topic, or push for a top rank in a competitive exam, I tailor the pace and material to their specific goal.
