About Toby
A friendly engineer who wants to inspire the next generation of students to achieve great things. I have experience with tutoring students to reach their desired grades and making STEM fun. Offering affordable lessons for GCSE and A level maths and physics students. Flexible lesson lengths (30 min - 2 hours) depending on the students needs. I create personalised resources for each student to best fit their needs. I graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class masters degree in Mechanical Engineering . I have tutored multiple students through my time at university.

Toby tutored my son for a year and a half to prepare him for his GCSE maths exams and during this time he achieved a great improvement in his maths grades. He had struggled with maths, but Toby's ability to explain maths problems clearly and patiently and his engaging and encouraging teaching style greatly boosted my son's confidence. Toby is very conscientious and always came well prepared to the lessons. We used both face-to-face and online lessons and they worked equally well.
