About Mark
I am newly graduated, hence have not tutored officially in mathematics previously. I ran a mathematics help session weekly during university for my peers. The seven students who attended those sessions were in the top ten in mathematics modules every semester. I have also tutored young students learning to play the drums. Four kids attended my weekly classes for around a year and become proficient with the instrument.

My name is Mark Drummond and I am a graduate of Heriot-Watt University. I provide lessons in mathematics at all secondary levels. My tutoring will be completely student focused, we will cover topics that you are struggling with and aim to improve your proficiency in these areas. When I am confident you have full understanding I will provide a series of problems for you to tackle and solutions to those problems, I would advise you try the problems then look at the solutions. I am committed, patient and understanding with students. I have been in education for the past 15 years so understand first hand the pressures and struggles students undergo. My tuition will not only help you improve your grades, but will help you fully understand the methods employed to solve problems, providing a solid base for further study at higher levels. All engineering and physical science degrees will require mathematics modules which are very advanced but are built solely on the principles you cover at secondary level.
