About João
I believe that a friendly, cordial and private environment, where the student feels free to ask any type of question, is the most conducive to the acquisition and consolidation of knowledge.
In general, the classes will be planned so that, initially, there is a review and consolidation of the theoretical contents of the disciplines, through notes made by me and other relevant sources, since I truly believe that the mastery of the theory is the secret for academic success. Subsequently, we move on to solving proposed exercises.
However, the methodology followed during classes will be defined with the student, adapting it to his needs and objectives, through the initial definition of a monitoring plan. This may be updated, in order to get the best out of the sessions or direct them to a specific evaluation moment (such as intensive preparation of exams, preparation of laboratory evaluations, help in making reports).

I completed the Integrated Master in Mechanical Engineering in 2018, with a final average of 17.0 points. Despite having specialized in the field of Structural Engineering and Machine Design, throughout my academic career, I showed a great taste for all areas, resulting in the consolidation of content and academic success in the vast majority of disciplines.
While doing my dissertation, I had the opportunity to be an assistant professor lecturing the discipline of Mechanical Vibrations, with a very positive evaluation by the students, which allows me to be comfortable in the transmission of knowledge in an effective way.
I have been working for 2 years as a Mechanical Engineer in the field of R&D, which has led me to contact daily with themes from different areas of study, in an exploratory and practical way.
