I prefer to use a collaborative way of teaching where we use a repetitive methodology to solve complex problems. This way my student and I can work through the problems rather than teaching the generic way. We begin by going through the basics and tackling complex problems, making the simple problems much easier to learn. The typical length of a lesson is preferably 1 hour as it is more effective and efficient for the student to grasp the knowledge; any longer than that and the students may lose focus due to the vast amount of information given. My experience for tutoring is specifically being a study buddy in university for students that require help. The lessons are for GCSE and A Level students.
