About Timothy
I am an engineer who seeks to polish his skills through teaching others. I have only tutored one student (in Algebra and Geometry) for a year in the past. He went from getting C's and B's to getting A's.
As for practical experience, I have applied my knowledge of mathematics to model the kinematics and dynamics of various systems like car engines and Jansen mechanisms. In addition, my skill-set is specialized toward thermal and vibrational analyses.
I have an engineer's perspective on differential equations, often taking shortcuts that would make mathematicians squirm (even though the shortcuts work).
