About Sahan S
I'm a mechanical and energy engineer. I did my bachelor's degree at New York University and my dual-degree master's in France and Italy. A strong foundation in Math and Physics allows me to bring both the expertise and a passion for teaching to each lesson. With experience instructing Ordinary and Advanced level students, I understand the challenges students face and am committed to helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and tailored support, ensuring that complex concepts become manageable and engaging. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and empowered to excel in their studies.

I prefer to take a hands-on approach that encourages students to think for themselves, grasp theoretical concepts thoroughly with different examples as close as possible to real-life, and be confident to handle any exam questions on the subject. I typically like to schedule each lesson for a minimum of 2 hours. I have taught Ordinary and Advanced Level Math and Physics for over 2 years, both fresh out of high school and as a university student. I'm happy to teach any age groups, preferably, Ordinary and Advanced Level and also undergraduate university level.
