About Vicki
About Me I am a dedicated educator and program director with over a decade of experience in massage therapy and health sciences education. My career has been built on a deep commitment to helping students not only learn the material, but truly understand and apply it in their future practice. In my role as Program Director of a massage therapy program, I have guided students from their first day of class to graduation, board exams, and successful careers. I understand the challenges students face—whether they are brand-new to the subject or returning to education after time away—and I tailor my approach to meet each learner where they are. My teaching is grounded in current research, industry standards, and hands-on experience. I believe professionalism is built on a foundation of knowledge, skill, and ethics, and I aim to model those qualities in every lesson. Students can count on me for clear explanations, patience, and a supportive learning environment that builds both confidence and competence. When you work with me, you’re not just preparing for an exam—you’re developing the mindset and skills that will carry you forward in your academic and professional journey.

My Teaching Method & Techniques
As an educator, I blend clear structure with real-world application. I believe learning sticks when students understand why it matters, not just what it is. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up / Review (5–10 min): Quick recap of previous content or a brief knowledge check.
Core Content (20–30 min): Direct instruction with visuals, real-life examples, and analogies.
Interactive Practice (20–30 min): Application through discussion, guided exercises, or problem-solving scenarios.
Wrap-Up & Next Steps (5–10 min): Summarize key points, answer lingering questions, and assign light practice or reflection.
