About Ian
I hold university teaching qualifications from Harvard University and the University of London.
I hold an MBA (International Banking and Finance), a BSc (Economics and Accounting), the Diploma of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and am a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
I teach risk management to bankers and financial markets traders. At university, I teach UG and PG courses in Leadership, Management, Negotiation, HR, Strategy, Accounting, Marketing and PR.
I have held management, leadership and client-facing roles at Macquarie Bank, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, and the University of Sydney.

I start with the student and work backwards. I focus on what YOU need, and I work out how to deliver it.
My lessons are interactive and driven by learning outcomes. I bring practical experience to the classroom, which I use to augment the concepts and theories that you need to learn.
My two university teaching qualifications (from Harvard and London) make me uniquely placed to deliver superior student outcomes.
I break concepts down and rebuild them with you. I break assessments down, and we work together to get to the required answers.
My style is relaxed, sometimes humorous, but always mindful of your investment in the time that you spend with me.
