To every student and parent reading this — I want you to know one thing before anything else: I genuinely care.
Teaching for me is not a job. It is a calling. There is no greater joy in my world than watching a child move from confusion to clarity, from hesitation to confidence, from dreading a subject to genuinely looking forward to it. I have seen this transformation happen time and again with my students, and it never gets old.
Every child who comes to me is unique. They have their own pace, their own way of thinking, their own fears, and their own strengths. I never teach to a syllabus — I teach to a child. I take the time to truly understand where each student is struggling, why they are struggling, and what specific approach will work best for them. That personalization is not a technique I follow — it is simply how I believe every child deserves to be taught.
To students — I want you to know that no question is too small, no confusion is too silly, and no mistake is something to be ashamed of in my class. My classroom is a safe, encouraging, and completely judgment-free space where you are always free to ask, explore, and learn at your own pace.

Every session I conduct is structured with a clear beginning, middle, and end. I begin with a five-minute revision of the previous session to reinforce retention and identify any lingering gaps before introducing new material. I then present the new concept in simple language, progress to worked examples, move to guided practice with the student, and finally to independent application. I always close every session with a concise summary of what was covered and assign light, purposeful homework designed to consolidate learning — never busy work for its own sake.
For language subjects — English, Hindi, and Marathi — I structure lessons around four pillars: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. I use newspaper excerpts, short stories, poems, dialogues, and everyday conversations as teaching material because real-world content makes language learning far more engaging and memorable than textbook exercises alone. For Mathematics, I follow a strict concept-first approach, ensuring the student understands the logic and reasoning behind every formula before moving to calculation and problem-solving. For Science and Social Studies, I use mind maps, diagrams, and structured chapter summaries to help students organize information visually and recall it effortlessly during examinations.
Before beginning regular sessions with any new student, I conduct a diagnostic first class where I assess the student's current level, identify specific weak areas, and understand their learning style. This allows me to build a personalized lesson roadmap for that student from day one rather than teaching to a generic syllabus.
Tutoring Techniques
I use a combination of proven, research-backed techniques in every session:
The Feynman Method — Rather than simply explaining and moving on, I ask the student to explain the concept back to me in their own words after every key topic. This is one of the most powerful techniques for identifying hidden gaps in understanding and building genuine long-term retention. If a student cannot explain it simply, they have not truly understood it yet, and we revisit together.
Socratic Questioning — I guide students to arrive at answers through carefully structured questions rather than simply providing answers. This develops independent thinking, problem-solving ability, and examination confidence.
Spaced Repetition — I revisit previously covered topics at regular intervals throughout the course rather than covering them once and moving on. This dramatically improves long-term memory and reduces last-minute revision anxiety before examinations.
For Spoken English specifically, I use role-play, guided conversation, storytelling, and structured debate exercises to build fluency and confidence naturally. I embed grammar into real conversations rather than teaching rules in isolation, because language is learned through use, not memorization. I give specific, actionable feedback on pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, and sentence construction after every speaking exercise.
For Hindi and Marathi, I closely follow the school curriculum while incorporating creative writing, poetry appreciation, and oral expression activities that go beyond the textbook and help students develop a genuine connection with the language.
For Mathematics, I use visual representations, step-by-step worked examples, and pattern recognition to build conceptual clarity. I encourage students to verbalize their mathematical thinking out loud, which helps identify exactly where the reasoning breaks down.
Tutoring Specialties
I specialize in building strong academic foundations in students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 across CBSE, ICSE, and Maharashtra State Board curricula. My core specialties are:
Spoken English and Communication Confidence — helping students and adults speak fluently, clearly, and confidently in both everyday and formal situations. This is my strongest area and the one where students see the fastest, most visible transformation.
Trilingual Language Teaching — I am one of very few tutors who can teach English, Hindi, and Marathi as subjects, giving CBSE and ICSE students comprehensive language support under a single tutor, which is extremely rare and highly convenient for families.
Fear-to-Confidence Transformation — I have a particular gift for working with students who have developed a dislike or fear of a specific subject. Through patience, structured rebuilding, and consistent encouragement, I help such students not only improve their grades but genuinely begin to enjoy subjects they once dreaded. This is the outcome I am most proud of as a teacher.
Indian Expat Students in the GCC — Having lived and taught professionally in Bahrain, I understand the academic environment, curriculum expectations, and cultural context of Indian families based in the Gulf. I am especially well-placed to support CBSE and ICSE students in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain through personalized online sessions.
