I have a degree in Philosophy, incorporating Logic, Philosophy of Science and Philosophy of Mathematics. I have years of experience teaching English as a foreign language in Colombia and online and I am currently studying for a degree in Mathematics, looking to supplement my studies with some Teaching.

My general approach is human centred, based on listening to the specific needs and requirements of my students and tailoring the lessons to them. We can work through problems and exercises and I can explain various concepts and ideas along with tips and tricks to help improve your skills and give you a deeper understanding of the subject. My preferred methodology is to explain the underlying logic behind algebra in mathematics, and to support the logic with visual examples. Once you understand how maths works logically it makes it much easier to memorise the key concepts.
