About Willa
With a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science and over 8 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping middle schoolers overcome the challenges of algebra. Linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic functions are often areas of struggle. To tackle these, I use puzzles, riddles, and real-world scenarios that make math exciting. My approach is clear and step-by-step, ensuring learners don’t feel rushed or left behind. I’ve guided students with a wide range of learning needs, and I adapt my teaching for each individual. Some thrive on visuals, others on practice, and I make sure both get the support they need. Anxiety around math is common, but I’ve helped many students replace that fear with confidence.
