About Bruno
I'm currently an undergraduate studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, and although I have limited experience in mentoring GCSE pupils, I promise to give it my all. I've achieved A*s in both A-level Maths and A-level Further Maths, as well as a grade 9 in GCSE Maths. More recently, I've sat the STEP university admissions papers and so I'm happy to offer tutoring for those if you are interested.

I believe that intuition is key in maths, and that it follows from seeing real-world applications of a topic. Therefore, whenever the student finds a concept confusing, I will think hard to come up with simple, concrete examples to explain the idea, before providing a range of practice questions to help them become familiar with the subject. I will annotate any submitted work with constructive comments, and base future questions on the specific areas that require attention. However, I am still very flexible with regards to the structure and content of the sessions, depending on each student's individual needs, and I will do everything I can to make my lessons enjoyable and helpful.
