About Thomas
My name is Thomas Mansfield and I am an undergraduate mathematics student at the University of Bristol.
I have 4 years of experience coaching and teaching in sport and classroom settings. I have previously tutored year 11 GCSE students who during my time tutoring them progressed from Foundation to Higher Tier maths.
I believe that a fun and engaging working environment is what allows students to perform their best in learning and I am committed to providing such an experience to my tutees through my teaching.

I believe that the key to excelling at a subject is enjoying the process of learning about it and I strive to deliver insightful and enjoyable lessons to all my students through a mixture of explanations, practice questions and deeper exploration into topics.
My lessons are typically and hour to an hour and a half and are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students aged 15-18.
I have previous experience teaching GCSE students and have successfully brought students from Foundation Level GCSE Maths to Higher Level Maths in 6 months of tutoring.
