About Mark
At school I always asked myself "Is there a way to get to all knowledge? Or is is just for the super brainy in my class?"
As a teacher, I came to the soothing understanding that there IS a path to knowledge. We just need to know the way.
I have been able to create a simple system where students can attain to best grades. A simple learning system without loads of hard work.
When we meet you will see how this works. And how to apply it in your maths for best results - but also for your other subjects too.
(By the way I am just coming back into tutoring following early retirement from class teaching. I also do other exciting things. Here is an example of my tutoring results: one Dunblane mum was delighted when in just as short time I tutored her failing son in maths. And got a B in his exams a few weeks later!)

SUCCESS BY STRATEGY!
I am a qualified Scottish teacher who has devised a simple system that students use with my tutoring for National 5 Maths. To get great results without all hard work and no need to keep redoing questions again and again!
There is an easier way! And it works online two with no need to come into student homes. Practically as good as though it is face to face!
STEP 1 - understanding: yes, it is important to understand concepts. But next two steps are vital!
STEP 2 - application - our simple method means students can do lots of exam questions
STEP 3 - final exams : now students are ready to do any exam questions they meet - tried and tested!
Encouragement is also very important. I will will show students easier ways of doing things to keep their heads up. Remembering that schooling is not always easy and encouragement is a great medicine.
I also offer an flexible hour lesson typically 1 hour 15 mins without extra charge.

Details
As indicated I am a retired teacher. Because of this I have now more time to give to students. It takes students so long to do exam question. And this is key for success. So I include an extra weekly session online where they can work through exam questions with my support. Accelerating success!
