About Eliza
I am a passionate Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Master’s in Mathematics (MMath). My love for mathematics goes beyond formulas and calculations. I am fascinated by the history of mathematics and how mathematical thought has evolved over centuries. I explore the contributions of ancient civilizations, from the Egyptians and Babylonians to the Greeks and Indians. I enjoy sharing the origins of famous theorems and the stories behind key mathematical discoveries. Every concept has a tale, and understanding it makes learning more meaningful. I guide students to appreciate not only how to solve problems but also the cultural and intellectual journey of mathematics. Lessons are designed to be engaging, connecting historical context with modern applications. I encourage curiosity and ask students to think critically about why methods were developed.
