About Kamso
I am a dedicated and reliable maths tutor with a strong academic record and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others succeed. I take pride in being patient, organised, and approachable.
I have achieved a Grade A* in GCSE Mathematics Numeracy and am predicted multiple A* grades in all my other GCSEs. I have earned multiple Gold and Silver certificates in the UK Maths Challenges, demonstrating strong problem-solving ability and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Through my experience supporting others and working in responsible roles, I have developed strong communication skills and a professional attitude. I am committed to being punctual, well-prepared, and focused on helping each student make clear progress.

I take a clear and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on building confidence as well as understanding. I break down difficult topics into simple steps and guide students through practice until they feel comfortable solving problems independently.
In lessons, I first identify areas the student finds challenging, then explain concepts clearly using examples before working through questions together. I also include exam-style practice where appropriate to build familiarity and confidence.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, but can be adjusted if needed.
My lessons are suitable for KS1, KS2, KS3, and GCSE students, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
