About Philip
I have a maths and economics degree and a PGCE. I have taught mathematics to students from year 1 to degree level.
I can teach any level of maths from Year 1 to Year 13 (including Further Maths) and can teach whatever subject is asked of me with no notice.
I have co-authored books on GCSE, A level, Scottish Standard level and UK SATs.

My teaching method is to have the students understand fully the methodology behind the subject and to encourage students to picture the problem using concrete materials if necessary.
Having been a tutor for so long, I know each subject in great depth as I have covered each a multitude of times.
I have worked on all English boards (including Edexcel, AQA and OCR including MEI).
