I am currently a Student at the University of Edinburgh studying mathematics and looking to get a Masters Degree. I have tutored up to 8 students at 1 time in my local area for roughly 1 year now for GCSE level and below.

I am currently looking to teach all levels up to A-levels (and/or highers) start off by giving them a general understanding of what we are attempting to achieve. Once they have a better overview of what the topic is about I begin to explain the methods used, explaining each step rigorously. We would then go through example exercises so I can see how capable the student is of solving problems for this topic. Depending on how this goes we will either move onto the next topic or go through the parts of the problem that the student struggled with. I believe my best quality as a tutor is patience as it means I ensure the student has a full understanding of what they are doing.
