My teaching philosophy centers on revealing mathematics through real-world applications and phenomena in nature, a principle that has informed every stage of my academic path.
During my BSc in Mathematics, I combined Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Coding with specialist modules in Mathematics Education and Cognitive Science, equipping myself with both technical depth and pedagogical insight.
Motivated to witness mathematics "in action", I went on to complete an MSc and then a PhD in Ocean and Coastal Engineering, and my ongoing research continues in this field. These experiences enable me to translate abstract theory into concrete, engaging examples for my students.
For more than fifteen years I have tutored learners at all levels: preparing secondary-school pupils for university entrance examinations in Greece and abroad (IB Diploma, A-levels), and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in Mathematics, Statistics and Programming.
Each lesson is carefully structured, rigorously explained and accompanied by targeted practice with detailed feedback.
Sessions are always adapted to individual goals and learning styles, fostering both conceptual understanding and academic confidence.
Whether you are working towards IB, A-levels or the Greek curriculum, my objective is to help you master mathematics, appreciate its relevance, and achieve outstanding results.

Πολύ καλός καθηγητής που ενδιαφέρεται να μαθαίνεις και να καταλαβαίνεις πραγματικά αυτό που διδάσκει. Εμβαθύνει όσο πρέπει, εντοπίζει τα δυνατά σημεία σου και χτίζει σε αυτά, εντοπίζει τις αδυναμίες σου και κάνει αυτά που πρέπει για να τις διορθώσεις. Με την βοήθεια του Νικόλα έγραψα 19 στα Μαθηματικά στις πανελλαδικές εξετάσεις.
Ο Nikolas είναι ένας καθηγητής που χαρακτηρίζεται από συνέπεια , δίνει έμφαση στην λεπτομέρεια ενώ παράλληλα τον ενδιαφέρει η σε βάθος κατανόηση της διδαχθεισας υλης. Είναι υποστηρικτικός και πάντα διαθέσιμος για περαιτέρω εξυπηρέτηση / βοήθεια.
Είναι ένας άκρως μεταδοτικός και ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρον επιστήμονας, δείχνει ενδιαφέρον και αγάπη προς το αντικείμενο του πάντα. Με έχει βοηθήσει κάθε φορά που του έχω ζητήσει και θα συνεχίσει να είναι η πρώτη μου επιλογή. Τον θαυμάζω και τον εκτιμώ απεριόριστα ως άνθρωπο αλλα και ως ειδικό.
Αξιόλογος και αξιόπιστος δάσκαλος που ενδιαφέρεται ειλικρινά για την πρόοδο των μαθητών του. Εστιάζει στις αδυναμίες και διαμορφώνει το διδακτικό του μοντέλο στον κάθε μαθητή ξεχωριστά. Η εμπειρία μου με τον Νικόλα στα μαθηματικά ήταν θετική, αν και πότε δεν έβρισκα ενδιαφέρον στα μαθηματικά, κατάφερε να με κάνει να κατανοήσω τη δομή και τον τρόπο σκέψης της επιστήμης των μαθηματικών, απλουστευοντας τη στείρα τεχνοτροπία που συναντάμε συνήθως. Άριστος επιστήμονας που καταφέρνει να μεταδώσει αυτά που πρέπει στο χρόνο που χρειάζεται, μα πάνω απ'ολα ένας καταπληκτικός -ανθρώπινος- χαρακτήρας με ενσυναίσθηση και σεβασμό στους μαθητές του! Τον συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!
