About Jude
Hi! Thanks for clicking on my profile. My name is Jude, and I've always been passionate about both maths and helping others. With both of my parents working in education, teaching is something I've naturally been drawn to. I'm currently studying Economics and Mathematics at university, where I’ve particularly enjoyed topics like linear algebra, and sequences and functions. My main academic focus, though, has been in statistics and probability. Outside of maths, I love watching football, playing the piano, and going on hikes whenever I can.

I believe that learning maths should be a fun, enjoyable, and confidence-building experience. My approach is always student-centred—I tailor each lesson to suit the individual’s current ability, learning style, and goals. I aim to strike the right balance between challenge and support: pushing students when they’re ready, but also breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps when needed. Whether we’re preparing for an exam or building foundational understanding, I work to make lessons engaging, interactive, and rewarding—so that students not only improve but actually enjoy the subject. Lessons typically will be an hour, but this is flexible depending on your needs. My experience: - Just completed the second year of my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics at the University of Bath. - Achieved A*A in A-Level Maths and Further Maths - Awarded a Merit in the AEA (Advanced Extension Award) for Maths - GCSE Grade 9 in Maths and Grade 8 in Further Maths I have experience assisting within the maths department in a school setting, supporting learners aged 11–18. Whether you're preparing for exams or looking to build confidence in class, I'm here to help!
