About Rishika
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logical reasoning, and structured problem-solving. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving strategies. Over 9 years, I have guided learners from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them build confidence, analytical thinking, and conceptual clarity. I design engaging, structured lessons that encourage curiosity, independent thought, and real-world application. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, fractions, and number sense. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step algebra, geometric reasoning, and applied exercises. Advanced learners engage with SAT-style problems, coordinate geometry, and higher-level algebra, cultivating independent analytical skills, problem-solving confidence, and perseverance. My teaching emphasizes curiosity, structured thinking, and persistence. Outside teaching, I explore mathematical applications, problem-solving strategies, and innovative approaches to enrich lessons. Witnessing students develop mastery, confidence, and curiosity is deeply rewarding. My goal is to equip learners to approach mathematics creatively, logically, and independently.
