About Jonathan
I know what it feels like to struggle with maths, I used to find numerous equations confusing as well. The game changer for me was understanding the concepts and answering techniques behind the questions. My confidence is boosted once the concepts clicked and I started to find joy in solving these puzzle-like questions. That experience drives my passion for tutoring. I want students to feel the same satisfaction of overcoming challenges and succeeding in maths and exams. I’m patient, supportive, and focused on building understanding, rather than merely memorising steps. Together, we’ll turn frustration into confidence and make maths feel achievable.

Lessons are student-led: bring topics or questions you would like covered, and we will go over the concepts together, explained clearly with multiple examples, followed by similar question sets for practice. Many students find this method helpful because it focuses on their priority areas instead of going through the whole syllabus. Typical lesson length is 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your schedule and attention span. Lessons are for Year 11 students or below, or anyone studying GCSE Maths. I have 2 years of experience in both face-to-face and online tutoring and I am skilled at using online platforms with shared whiteboards.
