About Willow
I developed an interest in mathematics through its logical beauty and problem-solving power. I earned an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, which strengthened both my theoretical understanding and practical application skills. Over 10 years, I have helped students overcome fear, confusion, and self-doubt in math through patient and structured teaching.
My teaching style emphasizes clarity, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe every student can improve in math with the right guidance and mindset. I focus on explaining concepts in multiple ways until they truly make sense.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to mathematical learning through problem-solving and continuous study. Helping students grow confident and capable in math is deeply rewarding and remains the heart of my work.

Mathematics becomes approachable when learners understand the logic behind formulas rather than memorizing steps. My lessons focus on building conceptual clarity across arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and introductory calculus. I explain ideas using simple language, visual methods, and structured examples so students can clearly see how concepts connect. Each lesson encourages questioning, reasoning, and exploration, helping learners feel more confident and less anxious about maths.
Beginners work on number sense, basic operations, and foundational concepts with clear guidance. Intermediate learners strengthen algebraic manipulation, word problems, graphs, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced learners focus on higher-level problem solving, exam strategies, and application-based questions. Lessons are carefully paced, with plenty of practice and feedback to reinforce understanding.
Maths develops logical thinking, accuracy, and confidence across subjects. My goal is to help learners trust their reasoning, approach problems calmly, and build long-term confidence in their mathematical abilities.
