About Rose
I have taught in schools for more than 20 years, but now want to devote my time to tutoring students on an individual basis. I have taught secondary school maths for my whole career and am very familiar with current GCSE requirements for maths. I have been an examiner for one of the exam boards for several years also.

I am a Cambridge University graduate and former head of department with over 20 years' experience teaching. I hold BEd(Hons) with QTS .
All of my tutoring sessions are tailored to my students' specific areas of need.
Lessons typically last for one hour and consist of part learning new skills and part practice of those skills. Time is also devoted to problem solving.
I have years of experience teaching key stage 3 & 4 with students of all ability levels.
I really believe that not only do you need to learn the skills but also be given lots of time to practise the skills that you need to improve.
