About Alex
I have a background in engineering. My degree focused on the aspects of sound engineering which I received an BSc with honours. I thoroughly enjoy mathematics therefore following my degree I decided to train as a mathematics teacher. Combining my background in engineering and love of mathematics I able to create real-life scenario's to allow more tangibility to the subject.

My teaching method is to give real-life applications of concepts to make the subject relatable. It's not just about knowing, but knowing the why behind mathematical ideas. I structure lessons starting with foundation principles to build in more complex ideas.
