About Mohammad
Hi I’m Abdullah, welcome to my profile! I am a Mathematics, Statistics and Business graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) having. I am a tutor for Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
Having taught full classrooms, led small group sessions, and tutored students on a 1:1 basis, I understand the need to adopt an adaptive teaching style. No tutoring lesson of mine will ever be the same. The aim of my sessions is not only improving grades but also enhancing confidence and helping my students discover the beauty of mathematics by employing patience and a positive attitude to learning.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking and playing chess. So that's me, and I'd love to hear from you to find out how I can support you in your studies and help you to achieve and exceed your goals.
Studying mathematics requires a sound conceptual understanding of material, and also an ability to solve challenging yet exciting problems. Hence my sessions are split between theory and application.
I enjoy bringing energy and enthusiasm to my sessions and constantly challenging my students.
My sessions are very engaging and interactive. I am not only here to help maximise your marks but to help you discover and enjoy the beauty of mathematics and its applications. I encourage students to develop an understanding of why a chosen approach works. I find joy in helping my students truly appreciate the significance of good exam technique and teach them the tips and tricks which will help them excel in their examinations.
I encourage my students to ask as many questions as they can. There is no such thing as a stupid question in my sessions.
