About Omar
I have over five years of experience teaching GCSE Science, GCSE Maths, A level Biology, Interviews for Medicine and dentistry and help with UCAS applications. I use a combination of presentation, questions and multimedia to enhance the students learning process. I can explain concepts at varying levels of difficulty and come back to previous topics to consolidate knowledge. I usually start off with asking the student what they want covered or what topics they are unsure about, if they are unsure we can go through an exam paper to identify areas of weakness. These are the worked over and tested with official question papers and summaries.
Additionally, I have helped numerous students with their personal statements, by advising what to include, and reflective statements that appeal to the admissions department. I have also prepared students for interviews having been on interview panel for MBBS candidates for two years. I am aware of the types of questions asked, and the non-verbal cues examiners are looking for.
