About Mahfuza
I'm am currently studying Mathematics in university.
I have been a GCSE and KS3 tutor for just over a year and have had both group sessions and one to one. My students have all progressed well in Maths and have achieved good grades; given the hard work they've put in!

I go through the curriculum topic by topic. So by the end of the year, the students should be confident with the entire curriculum. My teaching methods include going through questions and figuring out different ways for a student to understand each question. With maths, there is a different approach to each student. Whether it's an obvious, straight to the point approach, a more practical approach or a visual one, I ensure that the student can understand the question and therefore get to the answer in their own way. By gaining that understanding, in time they can learn the faster and more methodical methods without getting confused.
By the end of each term I conduct tests for the students to ensure they've fully grasped the topics we've gone through and highlight the areas they need work on.
I have a very fun and friendly personality and love teaching maths!
