About Ieman
I am a trainee accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm in London. I have been giving maths lessons for the past three years informally, but have been formally private tutoring students for the past year. I have taught around 30 student up to GCSE level, and have helped my students achieved higher GCSE grades such as A's. I have practical experience through my day-to-day job in accounting, using various aspects of mathematics daily.

I base my lessons on my tutees requirements; I am in frequent contact with my tutees to understand the topics they want to go over prior to the lessons and the level of understand they have on a topic. My methodology consists of recapping a topic with my tutee through verbal conversations and examples, then following up with relevant exam questions to fully consolidate the learning. I like to focus on exam style questions as I believe it is the best way for a tutee to grasp clear understanding of a topic and will be highly beneficial in the long term. However, I can also alter my methodology to be able to fit my tutees requirement to ensure they are feeling comfortable in the lessons!

I know Ieman through family friends, and she has been tutoring me for the past 2 years. Her teaching style is amazing, and never hesitates to change up the lesson if I am struggling with the topic. She makes me feel comfortable so I don't hesistate to ask questions, and she makes the lessons enjoyable too!
