About Lucas
I am currently studying Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Leeds and achieved a First in my first year. I have always enjoyed mathematics and chose to continue studying it at university because I enjoy both the problem-solving and logical thinking involved.
Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and how maths is taught in schools today. I believe one of the most important aspects of improving in maths is practising exam-style questions and developing confidence in applying methods to unfamiliar problems.
I enjoy helping others work through problems and explaining concepts in a clear and straightforward way. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the skills needed to succeed in GCSE Maths.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE students who want to improve their exam performance in mathematics. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and put emphasis on working through exam-style questions.
Lessons will be tailored to each student's needs, whether they are looking to strengthen core topics, prepare for exams or work towards higher grades. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their mathematical skills.
