About Kyle
I am currently a Master’s student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Sydney, with a strong academic background in mathematics and physics. Alongside my studies, I have over 1.5 years of tutoring experience teaching middle and high school students in China, where the curriculum places a strong emphasis on accuracy, discipline, and problem-solving depth.
I enjoy teaching because I like helping students move from confusion to clarity. Rather than rushing through content, I focus on building solid foundations and guiding students through problems step by step. One of my students improved their mathematics score from 50 to 110 out of 120 after consistent, targeted support, which reinforced my belief in structured practice and clear explanations.
I am not here to overwhelm students with advanced theory, but to help them truly understand what they are learning and feel confident applying it. My approach is patient, honest, and results-focused, and I aim to support each student at their own pace while helping them reach their academic goals.

I believe that true learning comes from understanding how to think, not from memorising formulas. In my lessons, I focus on helping students develop clear logical reasoning and strong problem-solving skills, especially in mathematics and physics.
My teaching method is structured, interactive, and highly adaptable. I break complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and guide students through each idea using carefully designed questions. This helps students learn why a method works, not just how to apply it. I also place strong emphasis on identifying common mistakes and misconceptions, so students can avoid repeating them in exams.
Lessons usually run for two hours or longer, allowing enough time to fully explore concepts, work through practice problems, and reinforce understanding. I adjust the pace and teaching style based on each student’s level, learning speed, and goals, ensuring that every lesson is both effective and engaging.
With over 1.5 years of tutoring experience teaching middle and high school students, I have helped many learners significantly improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. My lessons are suitable for primary, junior high, and senior high school students (typically up to age 20), whether they are catching up on foundations or aiming for top results.
My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students gain confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding that stays with them long-term.
