About Aalia
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Class I in Natural Sciences and an MSc in Physics. I have always been passionate about the sciences and sharing my enthusiasm for these which is why I have been teaching since 2017. Over my 5 years of teaching experience I have taught students from the ages of 4 to 18.

In general, lessons begin by going through homework I set at the previous lesson. This allows any weak spots to be identified and the student to be helped in these areas. After the homework, a new topic is introduced where I explain the topic in an interactive manner and I ask the student to write down the key points. Following the topic explanation, I go through questions with the student, offering input and help where required. The aim is that, by the end of the lesson, they are able to complete a good proportion of the questions by themselves. Throughout the lesson the student is encouraged to ask questions on anything that is unclear. After the lesson, I email over the homework which is primarily composed of questions on the new topic as well as some revision questions from past topics.
