We are currently using Jack as a tutor to support my son with his Maths A level. When I initially contacted Jack, he suggested having a pre- meeting with my son and I to discuss his needs and to make sure we were both happy with the tutoring arrangements. As a parent I appreciated this. My son has been with Jack around 8 months now and has grown massively in confidence and significantly increased his ability levels. Jack always sends my son and I feedback with how he is progressing and my son is really happy with how the sessions are going. I have no hesitation in recommending Jack to others.

Jack was reliable, patient, and able to explain concepts clearly in a way that helped improve my son’s understanding and confidence. Sessions were well structured and tailored to his needs, particularly around areas he initially struggled with.

We found communication to be good throughout, and my son always felt comfortable asking questions and working through problems at his own pace. I noticed steady progress in his maths ability and overall confidence during the tutoring period.

I first met Jack in 2020 after he was recommended to us by a highly experienced math tutor. He collaborated with my son for several years tutoring him and mentoring him in math and science both for class work and exam prep to build up his STEM skills and confidence. The tutoring was both in person at our home and over zoom. Jack developed the plan of study based on the needs of my son and was extremely flexible. He worked with materials we provided as well as supplementing them with his own. The tutoring involved a wide range of math and science topics at senior school level.

Jack is a very capable tutor and excels at the level of his technical subject skills and professionalism (always punctual, very available and responsive). He also has a wonderful temperament and is extremely patient, always calm and collected, dedicated to and encouraging his students, but also fair and honest. I can recommend Jack as a tutor without any reservations.

Jack was extremely helpful as a tutor for my university mathematics module. He was extremely good at explaining complex mathematical language and concepts in a more comprehensible manner. Also, he was very prepared for lessons making them more engaging, organised and efficient.

Jack supported my son very effectively with his mechanical engineering HNC course. Jack is very knowledgeable and very good good at explaining concepts in a clear and easily understood way. Jack is a fantastic tutor and I cannot recommend him strongly enough. Our daughter needed help in further maths and he has a subject expertise, patience and teaching skills that have enabled her to make huge progress. He always provides detailed follow-up on what each lesson covered and how our daughter is performing in specific areas, such as mechanics and statistics. We are very lucky to have found him.
