About Jodie
I am currently studying at Sixth Form with experience in one-to-one mentoring with younger year groups in Modern Foreign Languages at my school and aiding my younger sibling in their GCSEs. I love helping others with their problems and questions, particularly in the areas of my studies. I look forward to doing so but also learning more personally along the way!

I hope to create a safe and encouraging learning space for you - you shouldn't feel uncomfortable about asking any question or doubt your abilities!
To be able to get an insight how I can help effectively, I want to get to know what subjects you feel less confident and secure in. This might involve a mini baseline test to get a gist of what might need work or simply asking you about any ideas of what topics I should prioritise, suited to your needs and likings.
If you are still unsure about something I have said, I will try to explain in a different way that you might be able to understand more clearly i.e. analogies suited to your interests.
Breaking down the basic yet fundamental elements of the subject will allow you as a student to gain a greater understanding and confidence with harder, more complex concepts. Walking and talking through example questions gives you an insight into how to tackle that type of question e.g. multiple choice questions, ‘describe and explain’.
