About Oliver
Hi! I'm a dedicated maths graduate based in Surrey with a passion for helping students discover the joy in mathematics. I know that maths can be challenging, but I firmly believe that with the right support, anyone can develop the skills and confidence to succeed.
My own academic journey has given me a deep understanding of how maths works, but it's my experience as a tutor that has taught me how to bring those concepts to life for students of all levels. I believe that understanding is the foundation of success in maths, so my lessons focus on building a deep comprehension of concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s unique needs, whether they’re struggling with the basics or aiming to excel at advanced problems. My approach is highly interactive – I use plenty of examples, practice problems, and real-world applications to ensure that students can confidently tackle any challenge.
Typical Lesson Length: My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which allows us enough time to explore topics thoroughly without overwhelming the student.
Qualifications and Experience: I am a maths graduate with a strong academic record, and I have experience tutoring students at both GCSE and A-Level. I have a passion for making maths accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of starting ability.
