About Lynda
I am an experienced primary school teacher and Deputy Headteacher with a passion for helping children achieve their full potential. I specialise in tutoring Key Stage 2 pupils, providing support in English and Mathematics, as well as preparing children for SATs and 11+ entrance examinations.
Drawing on my extensive classroom and leadership experience, I tailor lessons to meet each child’s individual needs. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, building strong foundations, and developing the confidence needed for success. My lessons are interactive, engaging and purposeful, ensuring that pupils make rapid progress while enjoying their learning journey.

I am an experienced KS2 tutor specialising in SATs and 11+ preparation. My approach is centred on identifying each pupil’s individual strengths and learning gaps, enabling me to tailor lessons that target areas for development and accelerate progress. I believe that confidence and success go hand in hand, so I create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable taking risks and asking questions.
My lessons are interactive, engaging and purposeful, designed to develop a deep understanding rather than relying on memorisation alone. By building strong foundations and addressing misconceptions, I help pupils make rapid progress while developing the confidence and resilience needed to achieve their full potential in both SATs and 11+ assessments.
