About Sinead
I was a music scholar at the Royal Academy of Music, studying flute and piano . I have taught at the Priory School in Banstead, Downe House School and privately. I have taught all my children who have proceeded to music scholarships at Westminster School and Hampton. I believe in learning tunes you will love, progressing through the grades and really encouraging a love of music. I also teach theory up to Grade V.
I have a First Class Degree in English Literature and an extensive knowledge of the 11+ system and enjoy a success rate of getting children through the tricky exams into selective schools such as Westminster (music scholarship) Hampton (music scholarship), St George’s Weybridge and SWPS. I believe in teaching a love of education in a way that each child really understands a joy of maths and English that they can take forward though their teenage years.
