About Maria
I am a maths/business/music student currently in college. This is my first time giving proper tutorial lessons, although I help my younger sisters with their school work regularly.
Being a maths student I have taken part in some competitions as part of my school.
As a music student, I have also performed in various places such as; winter concerts, sports day, Colston Hall and Battle of the Bands against other schools.
While studying business, I have also visited a variety of places to have a more in-depth understanding of their purpose and how they are run.
I can say that, for all of these things to work well - be it music or business - maths is a fundamental thing to have in order to succeed.

My teaching method is to polish up the basics of each subject so that the student finds it easier to solve a problem, or at least have some idea on where to start. From there, I focus on what the student is struggling with a find the most suitable way in which they can remember. After this, the best thing would be to keep coming back to the topic regularly or even try to link it with other areas of maths to give an example of different ways to solve it.
