About Tanay
I am 18 years old with further educational and career aspects in architecture. I have achieved 12 grade 9s including maths, physics and further maths at GCSEs. I studied maths and physics for A Level at Trinity School Croydon. In 2020, I placed 1st in my school (Harris Academy Beckenham) for the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge. I also attended UKMT’s 2-week-long summer school alongside mathematic professors from Cambridge and Oxford. My desire for teaching comes from a love for spreading knowledge and learning maths beyond what schools have to offer. I have unofficially tutored several classmates through the recommendation of my teachers who have also encouraged me to take up tutoring professionally.

Up to 3 lessons (60 minutes each) per week per student. Also available for any custom schedules! £20 per lesson. At-home lessons (or local library) or online lessons are possible. I prioritise understanding the needs of the student and teaching them accordingly. Every student learns at a different pace and level of understanding. Maths shouldn’t be seen as an intimidating subject, rather a language to understand how the world works beyond numbers on a worksheet.
