About Ealish
I am a Maths and Physics graduate who has been teaching for over 8 years, including 2 years working in a school. I love helping students achieve their own successes, and figuring out how to support each individual's own personal learning style and academic strengths.
Over the last 8 years, I have worked with students from primary school to university level, both as a private tutor and in a classroom setting. I have worked with a range of learners of varying abilities, confidence levels, and needs.
For students that enjoy the subjects, I love pushing them to think beyond the constraints of the syllabus, help them to see new links between topics, and prepare them for further study in the future. However, I know that not everyone loves Maths and Physics as much as I do, and sometimes the end goal is passing the exams so a student can focus on the subjects they are really interested in. Either way, sharing in the achievements of each individual learner, and supporting them to reach their goals is why I love teaching.

I believe the best way to learn is through practice. I like to give my students lots of worked examples and look at how they can approach complex problems they might be presented with in an exam. I like to use pictures and sketches to illustrate concepts and am happy to explain ideas in different ways to help students grasp the topic.
I like to work with my students to help them achieve their own personal targets - whether that is hitting the top grades and exploring material beyond the syllabus, or whether that is securing a pass to allow them to pursue their own passions.
