About Rowena
I'm currently studying Graduate entry medicine at the University of Warwick. Before this I worked as an editor in educational publishing so I have a good insight into the UK maths curriculum. My first degree was in Maths and Philosophy from the University of Oxford. In my free time I am a keen runner - I'm currently training for an ultramarathon!

I take a relaxed approach to lessons in order to build the confidence of my students. I focus on understanding maths over learning algorithms so that students can deal with any maths problem even if the context is unfamiliar. Generally my lessons are 1 hour for KS3/GCSE and 1.5 hours for A level but I can be flexible. I have a DBS certificate
